We believe that all youth should have the opportunity to participate in our Life Skills Experience regardless of financial status. As a non-profit organization, First Tee West Virginia raises funds to provide need-based financial-aid to any child who would like to participate but would not otherwise be able to.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID?
The financial aid process is now integrated into our online registration system. Please follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Register your child/ren for the desired class by adding the selection to the cart
NOTE: the FULL price will be shown, but this is not what you will pay once you apply for financial aid.
Step 2: Proceed to checkout.
Step 3: When you get to the Financial Aid Page, please (x) click that you would like to apply. You will be prompted to answer the following (5) questions:
• How many people are in your household?
• What is your household income range?
• Is the participant receiving free or reduced cost school lunch?
• Is the family experiencing financial hardship?
• How much are you able to pay (if any)?
Step 4: Continue the registration by completing information and answering questions.
Step 5: Proceed to checkout and click submit. Upon applying, A notification will be sent to The First Tee of West Virginia staff, and we will review your application.
IMPORTANT: Once approved, you will receive an email prompting you to log back in and complete your registration. Please note you ONLY have 48 hours to log back in and finalize. If you do not log back in within the allotted time, your registration will be voided, the child’s space will be released, and you will need to start the process over.
